The Company

Ski Famille is an independently owned specialist in family ski holidays in the French Alps. We are regularly cited by the press as experts in our field and enjoy high levels of return guests and staff.

 We provide high quality catered chalet holidays with in-chalet childcare in the popular French resorts of Les Gets, La Plagne and Les Menuires. 


The Role

Non-Catering Chalet Hosts work in our larger chalets which typically sleep 12 – 17 guests.  As well as supporting the other Chalet host with the preparation and service of meals, you will carry out daily housekeeping duties, keeping the chalet clean and well presented.

 It will be your responsibility to ensure the cleanliness of the chalet for the duration of guest’s holiday. You will be completing the weekly changeover of the chalet often to tight deadlines.

 You will assist in providing breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course meal, plus a separate children’s tea earlier in the evening.

 You will also be the first point of contact for you guests, dealing with any queries they have during their holiday.

The Person

We don’t require any formal qualifications, but what we want to see a dedicated, energetic and enthusiastic individual providing excellent customer service.

 You will need to be organised, well presented and enjoy interacting with the guests. Additionally, you will need to enjoy working in a team and show experience of working in customer facing roles. You will be a keen team player as well as having the initiative to work on your own. Your commitment to high quality service and ensuring a family friendly environment for all guests will be a prime focus. We want individuals who are happy to go the extra mile.


We will also conduct DBS (previously CRB) checks as well as taking up at least two references.



  • Previous Customer Service Experience
  • Relevant Hospitality experience
  • UK National Insurance number
  • UK Bank Account and UK Passport
  • Current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
